My Bio
Meet Marie

Hi, I’m Marie, the heart behind Full Circle Doula Services.

I recently completed my birth doula training with ProDoula, and I’m so excited to begin this new chapter supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood.

While I’m new to the role of a birth doula, I’m certainly not new to caring for families. I’ve spent more than 20 years working in family medicine, where I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside patients through some of life’s most meaningful moments.

I’ve celebrated with families as they shared the news of a pregnancy, welcomed them at their first OB visits, watched their pregnancies progress through each appointment, and eventually had the joy of meeting their newest little ones at their first visit.

In many ways, I’ve been part of this journey for years. The one piece I was missing was being there during labor and birth.

Becoming a doula allows me to complete that circle.

I’m honored to have the opportunity to walk alongside you, listen to you, support you, and help you feel informed and confident throughout your birth experience. I look forward to getting to know you and being there for you every step of the way.

Your journey is unique. Your birth matters. And I would be honored to be part of your story.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a doula do?
A doula provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. My role is to support you, not replace your medical provider.

Do you work with hospitals, birth centers, and home births?
Yes, I support births in hospitals, birth centers, and home settings throughout Greenville, SC and nearby areas.

When should I hire a doula?
Many families hire a doula early in pregnancy, but support can begin at any stage. The earlier we connect, the more preparation and guidance I can provide.

Will a doula replace my partner or support person?
No. I work alongside partners and loved ones, offering guidance and encouragement so they can feel confident and involved.

Do you offer postpartum support?
Yes, postpartum doula support is available to help with emotional well-being, newborn care education, and adjusting to life with a new baby.
